We absolutely love this daycare! Our son has been attending for a while now, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The teachers are kind, caring, and truly treat the children like family. The environment is warm, safe, and welcoming, and it’s clear how much love and effort goes into everything they do. One of the things we appreciate most is how much our son has learned and grown here. His language skills, confidence, and social skills have improved so much. He looks forward to going every day, which means the world to us as parents. We are so grateful for the care, patience, and dedication of the entire team. We highly recommend this daycare to any family looking for a nurturing and supportive place for their child.

My son loved being here from day one, and it's been such a wonderful experience for our family. I was anxious as a first time mom to drop him off, but because this daycare is run from home it has a very cozy environment that helped him feel confident. Kids eat healthy home-cooked meals every day, and I love that they also serve plenty of fresh fruit and berries. Kids also get to spend lots of high-quality time playing outside or making cutest arts and crafts projects. It's a joy to see what my son brings home and to hear how his day went.

Baby Island Daycare is the highest quality of daycare. I appreciate not only how much the kids are taken into such consideration when it comes to learning bilingually-helping them preserve their Russian- but amazing high quality meals, and playtime teaching them a great social foundation in the early stages of life.

Social Development Questions

Wondering How the Friendship Magic Works?

What does social development look like during the day?

It can look like taking turns with a favorite toy, joining a group story, practicing words for big feelings, helping with cleanup, or inviting another child into play. These everyday moments create meaningful practice.

How do you support a child who is slow to warm up?

Children are encouraged at their own pace. We can begin with observation, parallel play, one-on-one conversation, or a familiar activity before inviting a child into a larger group moment.

Will my child practice sharing and turn-taking?

Yes. Play experiences and routines naturally create opportunities to wait, trade, listen, request a turn, and celebrate a friend’s success with warm, age-appropriate guidance.

How can families reinforce social skills at home?

Simple activities such as reading stories about feelings, practicing greetings, naming emotions, and taking turns during games can extend the same friendly skills into family life.
